Automatic Account Assignment of Customer Remittance Advices with AutoAvis |
AutoBank®, with its application AutoAvis, provides you with an elegant processing of all electronic and document-based remittance advices. Electronic remittance advices reach you from the customer via mailbox or something similar. Document-based remittance advices have to be digitized first with help of a remittance advice scanner. AutoAvis offers a standardized interface for one available advice scanner.
Imported remittance advice information are interpreted by AutoAvis and compared to the open items in the financial accounting. An automatic account assignment follows. Of course, it is possible to define whether the offsetting posting is to take place on a clearing account if the incoming payment has not yet occurred. Further settings are possible in AutoAvis. These refer to a keeping of an auxiliary ledger and to account assignments with deductions (promotion rebate, shipment costs etc.).
